Other Protection Systems
Customized production of special protection systems for machine tools that can be customized according to every need and application.
Linear Bellows
The bellows can be sewn, glued or heat sealed.
Depending on the use, the material and shape can vary.
Special coatings with stainless steel blades are provided to increase the resistance of the bellows when it comes into contact with the shavings.
Particularly suitable in working environments with large chips.
Circular Bellows
The circular bellows are supplied sewn, glued or heat sealed
They are used when a very short closed pack is required or when a good resistance to rotation is required.
They can be fixed with a flat flange or collar. To facilitate assembly, they can be made with a longitudinal opening. In this way they can be put on without having to disassemble the part to be protected.
Spiral Spring Covers
The spiral spring cover, or protective spiral for ball screw, is an individual protection made of steel.
Usually applied for the protection of screws and shafts present in machine tools: it protects the apparatus from shavings, dust and liquids, without interfering in any way with the normal operation of the machine, guaranteeing maximum protection.
It is supplied free (it looks like a strip of sheet metal to be wrapped around the screw) and is easy to attach to the machine.
Roll-Up Covers
Roll-up or roller guards are used to protect the sliding guides of machines from dust, liquid and swarf. They can be made WITH OR WITHOUT containment box.
The extendable sheet is produced with high quality materials (neoprene, polyurethane, PVC, steel) established according to the type of chip present. The roll-up protections can be installed in vertical, horizontal and transverse position, where space is limited and does not allow the housing of other types of protections.
They have the advantage of being noiseless, easy and quick to assemble, long life and being able to work at high travel speeds while maintaining compact dimensions.
Roll-Up Covers Reparation
Whenever it is possible and economically advantageous for both parties, Metal Gennari is able to carry out the revision of the worn roller guards, at its headquarters and with an estimate.
The repair activity of the roller guards consists in the replacement of the extendable sheet and in the restoration of the internal recall elements.
In the event that the roller protection is too damaged, Metal Gennari is able to supply a new one as “per sample” received.
Apron Covers
The roller shutter covers are used to protect the guides of the machines from dust, liquid and shavings; they have the advantage of being silent, easy and quick to fix, long lasting and being able to work at high temperatures, guaranteeing maximum protection.
The EXTRUDED shutters are made of aluminum, while those with NAIL ELEMENTS are made of aluminum, steel or brass, according to the type of chip produced. Both can be installed horizontally or vertically.
